How To Skip the Hard Work When Building Campaigns

For the last two years, I have been buying up people’s barren gold fields.

You see, there a few things that I hate about internet marketing: designing websites, making products, entering niches when I don’t even know if they’ll be profitable… you know – the HARD stuff.

I found that I spent so much time doing the hard stuff that I barely had any time to actually build a sustainable business – I was so focused on building a good website, or making a good product, or picking the right niche that I never really picked up steam.

And then I discovered that you can just take over other people’s hard work…

For people who know nothing about internet marketing, it means nothing to them. The fact that they might have a beautiful website that sells a unique, targeted product isn’t important to them, because they don’t know how to market.

But to people who see the bigger picture, it’s a goldmine.

And that’s why they give up their “gold” to people like you.

When you take over other people’s efforts, the hard stuff is no longer a problem.

  1. AWESOME, Ryan! Thanks for sharing. Totally makes sense… most people are leaving money on the table, and you can step right in and take advantage of it. Thanks so much.

  2. Brilliant. Been following every hot new method under the sun, which is terribly distracting. This just skips it all. :) Great video!

  3. Nice video, Ryan. Saw Flippa picked up your article and put it on their blog today, too.

  4. The Video only played part of the information. It stopped, but the part I saw was interesting.

Does my PC have a problem?

    Thanks,
    Ray

    • Hey Ray, have tested the video countless times but haven’t run into it freezing. Probably your internet connection buffering the video.

  5. I’ll be there

  6. This is real exciting. I am looking forward to the webinar

  7. Yo Ryan, it’s 09:50 here in the U.K. Just watched the video, got sent to it by PotPieGirl. Of course I’m interested, who wouldn’t be! The problem for me tho’ is, I’m a Limey! The time the webinar goes out, is around 3 or 4 am GMT here. Is there any way the webinar could be recorded and sent to us Limey’s via email. If so I’ll be registering. I can’t sit up all night, I have a J.O.B. I want to eventually Q.U.I.T!!! Thanks in advance for your attention.

  8. Sounds interesting.. great concept… especially since I’m one of those broke web masters you mention in your video. :)

Of course, gotta have the cash to invest also… but I’m still listening.

I’d love the inside track on getting Amazon S3 set up though. :) LOL I heard it’s very challenging.

Thanks for the post… and the Haiti relief effort.
    I’m in.

    Christine

  9. Very nicely presented, Ryan.
Looking forward to attend the Virtual Equity webinar.

Really appreciate it. You’re the best, Ryan! =)

  10. Great concept. Thanks

  11. sounds great-but can you have a particular type of site built for you if you have something already in mind?
Or find sites of a particular type?
But yes, marketing is the part that is vital…..

  12. Thanks Ryan,

Who sells a site that is really generating $150 a month on autopilot? It doesn’t add up.

    • Jamie, you’d be surprised. It happens ALL THE TIME.

  13. Excellent presentation with a very unique value proposition. Looking forward for it.

  14. Well I find marketing and getting traffic to be the hardest parts. So where does that leave me?

I can pick niches, keywords and build websites and products in my sleep.

    • Hey John, then there’s a few things you can do… one, you can buy sites that already have traffic, or two, you can be the person who builds up sites and sells them to people who want to do the marketing.

  15. Cool concept & what a fabulous idea! I’m smitten already… just like I was previously with so many other shiny objects! But I’ve just got a feeling about this one… let’s hope it’s for real!

    Cheers

    Salim

  16. with all the people you get interested in this approach — given your marketing expertise and promotions — I have got to believe that in buying these sites — the “pickens” could get slim pretty fast. The skeptic in me says you are making less money on the sites — so now you are making money on how it’s done. What do you say to my skeptic?

    • Hey Tom,

If you’re wondering if I buy sites, the answer is yes. But no, the pickens haven’t gotten any less… new sites come out every single day – especially with the economy and people wanting to cash out.

If you want to talk further, feel free to give me a call.

  17. I’d love to join the webinar but I live in France and will be tucked up in bed at that hour! Any chance of a recording being made to be circulated to the likes of me?!

  18. I find marketing to be the harder part as well. I setup a review site using wordpress with no problem at all.
But, I can only get a few leads and no sale at all.

Does the website itself ONLY sells?
They(website) must have a little bit of history don’t they?

    • Joseph,

You can sell ready made websites, but I instead recommend buying sites that have their marketing started. Initial traffic generation, making those first sales, and SEO all can be DONE when you buy somebody else’s site.

  19. Do you see any value in buying a aged URL if it has no backlinks? Thanks for the good info!

  20. Great job and my best wishes to you…original thinking from old baseball player (2nd base) Don Stewart

  21. Just an FYI, I didn’t finish watching this video because I couldn’t fast-forward it to see if there was any valuable content, and I got tired of hearing the sales-y bullshit.

  22. I have to agree with tom rees, it always seems if your late to the party you are getting the left overs. I am sure you are going to be selling something on this webinar and man time after time it makes it hard to continue to buy a ticket and just miss the boat.

  23. Yeah, I’m one of those with 5 nice web sies and only one making money. Try not to charge us an arm and a leg for this info…let us make a little money and we’ll keep coming back.

  24. I was with my sons, with the sound in the background, so I did end listening to it all. And BTW, the second half is good stuff. Simple yet powerful if we do indeed find those deals on Flipa.

But I have to rent against the new IM trend. If you want to sell me something, give me options to read or yes, fast forward or get back. At the very least, do tell how long I’ll have to watch this.

I really hope the stats agree with me. Most of the time, I just close everything and leave.

Again, good content in the second half.

  25. Hey gang,

I hear the people who have several sites but aren’t making any money – I’ve been there, and I know exactly what you’re talking about. You start to wonder, “Did I pick the wrong niche?” Or, “Why am I not getting sales?” Those first few steps are the hardest, even if you can put up a website. That’s why buying websites is a good alternative – you can be lost one moment, and the next have a full-fledged business that you can grow.

    -Ryan

  26. Yo Ryan ,
    Takpercaya here from RJ forum.
ope u still remember me , lol.
Anyway i just watch your video and it is very interesting and an eye opener.
It’s true that it takes thousands if you are starting to create a website from scratch.
    Thanks for the video.

  27. Thanks for the informative video. I know first hand what it takes to create a site and get traffic. It is a lot of work. This video has opened my eyes to some great potential. I will be paying much more attention to other sites that are already established that I could improve upon.

  28. Ryan,

Thank you for sharing. This reminds me of Equity Millions. I have a little captial, that I would strongly consider investing in this, though I would have to be quite certain the I wouldn’t completely fall on my face. But any business is naturally precarious. I’m going to attend the webinar. I look forward to your thoughts.

  29. Ryan,
How many posts have there been asking if this webinar will be recorded? None have been answered, and I’m one of those from the UK who regularly uses Flippa. Please record it for us??

    Cheers, Ken.

    • Hey Ken, the webinar WILL be recorded for those who can’t make it. -Ryan

  30. Right on Ryan! Wish the webinar was today. Will be listening for sure.

    Carol

  31. amazing video Ryan, you always restore my confidence! looking forward to the webinar session.

  32. Ryan-

I am not happy at all about your webinar!! :( I have been doing this method successfully for a long time and now you have just brought me a lot more competition. I will be attending your webinar, maybe I will learn a thing or two. See you there.

  33. This Sucks!

A few days ago I talked to my personal banker and got an initial commitment for $20k based solely on my telling him I had found some grossly undervalued businesses. I refused to tell him any more, but he knows me as a business consultant and trusts my instincts.

I have been pricing these sites and rubbing my hands in glee. Now I find your webinar, and it’s on the same subject.

I may have a few valuation tricks to play on a business, but you have released all the basic concepts, right here on this page. I had expected a decade or so before the full value of these sites was realized. OOPS, caught in Internet time.

Everybody, ignore this page, go back to life as usual. Then I can go back to rubbing my hands.

    • HAHA! I’ll take that as a compliment Allan. Thanks!

  34. sound is horrible! why not a simple written sales page, instead of all the bad audio sales BS

  35. Dont see a video player.. no video when i log in or do i need to sign up for the $1 offer?

  36. Show me what you got kid!

  37. The webinar is 3am for me.. so please don’t forget to record it for us and upload to the members area.
    Thanks

  38. Nice presentation. But I know marketing, and I understand the balance sheets. Their were a lot of FINE STEPS that you failed to mention in your short video. I will be at your webinar to hear more of the fine steps.

  39. This video was very informative and actually contained real information, that was a nice change from the regular fluff that is offered. I’ve done 4 or 5 designs and concepts on my site so far and never imagined selling it…now you’ve got the wheels turning inside my head and that’s a good thing!

  40. how much does it cost?

  41. amazing
thanks for identifying the opportunities out there
    looks very interesting

  42. I thought this was very interesting but how much does this cost to do.

  43. I’ll be on the webinar. What I’d like to know is how do you find out how many people are on the list? I have a folder full of these types of sites that have been pretty much abandoned, so this information is priceless.

  44. No Video? On a Mac, need windows?
